Cliff House Cottages

The newest additions to our collection, Cliff House Cottages, are perfect for a dog friendly break in Northumberland. The cottages lie in a quiet courtyard, in the heart of the historic harbour area of Seahouses, just a stone’s throw from the sea. 

Built in the 1800’s, these cottages were originally used as storage for the thriving fishing industry and hatches where the fish were unloaded can still be seen in the walls of the courtyard today! The beaches in North Northumberland are areas of outstanding natural beauty, and there are many restaurants, pubs and shops of the village to visit, within a short walking distance. 

Each cottage has unique charm of its own, providing a great base for exploring Northumberland, with all of the amazing things to do and see in the area.

Although No.2 Cliff House Cottage is historic, Wifi, Netflix and Smart TV’s mean that modern home comforts are standard.

Also, we accept 1-2 well behaved dogs in each cottage.

This two-storey cottage is perfect for a couple, or single guest, looking for a dog friendly break in Northumberland.

Outside, there is an allocated parking space for one car and an outside seating area to enjoy breakfast, before a day filled with exploring.

Downstairs, you will find a kitchen area equipped with everything you need should you decide to have a quiet night in cooking. The lounge area has two sofas, an electric stove and a TV with integral DVD. 

Upstairs is a double bedroom, but please note this room has restricted head height, as it is in the eaves of the house.

No. 2 Cliff House Cottages is a short walk from all of the shops, restaurants, bars and pubs of the village. It is also a stones throw from the beach and harbour, where many hours can be spent watching the world and boats go by. Given the amount of walking trails nearby, this property is perfect for a dog friendly break in Northumberland
